Excellent pricing! Exactly how a thrift store should be priced, at least for the categories of items I browsed. And the sale was 75% off yellow tags and you could see down each clothing aisle at least 20-30 yellow tags sticking out. I’ve read that some thrift store hide their sales tags in the back but definitely not here! There was a bunch of stuff with yellow tags, all of good quality too. Very very impressed with this goodwill, much better than just about any thrift store Ive been to in the whole KC area.
My son and I had such a positive experience here about 2 weeks ago! We were shopping and the manager came up and asked if my son liked trucks. We said yes and he came back with two trucks for him to play with and to give to him! He was so kind and friendly. We will be back!
Nice finds for very fair prices. But more importantly the workers, especially the manager Jimmie, have been friendly and helpful and went above and beyond to help me with my donations. Highly recommend!
Well priced, clean, friendly staff, I just with they had a larger stock of items
I've been to this location a few times and it's okay but I've never been greeted walking in or really had an employee smile at me. Not enough to make me go somewhere else but today I'd misplaced my shoes and when talking to an employee about it he spoke to me in a very condescending tone, I don't like to use that word lightly but it made the already stale and unwelcoming environment feel contemptuous. I needed assistance finding them and was met with a very negative attitude, and a soliloquy about his old career in the police force? Gosh this is turning into a long review but it just really rubbed me the wrong way. My father was chief of police for an incredibly long time and I work for the Shawnee fleet. But I didn't feel the need to tell him that, because I'm a normal person. Just helping me would have been appreciated :( Summary is, not necessarily a bad location, it serves its purpose but as someone with blue hair and piercings I recommend my fellow younger thrifters that enjoy a fun experience go to the Shawnee Goodwill location instead. I'm always greeted with a smile there and treated kindly, sad to see it isn't a company wide policy :/
