About This Store

Arlington thrift store shopping at Goodwill

If you’re into thrift shopping in Arlington, the Goodwill Store here is a solid spot to check out. This particular Goodwill location carries on the chain’s reputation for a wide range of secondhand goods, from used clothing to household items. People often stop by looking for affordable basics, but it’s also a place where vintage finds pop up now and then, especially if you’re patient and dig through the racks. Goodwill stores are known for supporting community programs, so by shopping here, you’re also helping local initiatives.

Walking into this Arlington thrift store, you’ll find an organized but lively setup. Clothing takes up a good chunk of space, including men’s, women’s, and kids’ sections. The used clothing sometimes includes branded or vintage pieces that catch the eye. Beyond clothes, there’s usually a furniture area with chairs, tables, and sometimes lamps or décor items that fit nicely into any room. Housewares like kitchen gadgets, dishes, and small appliances often rotate through, which is great for anyone setting up a place on a budget. And if you like flipping through books, this Goodwill usually stocks a decent selection of paperbacks and hardcovers.

Because Goodwill stores are part of a national chain, there’s a reliable sense of quality control you don’t always get at smaller thrift shops. That doesn’t mean it’s polished or staged, but it’s easy to find clean, usable items that have been carefully inspected. If you’re serious about thrift shopping in Arlington, this Goodwill is a dependable stop to add to your route. The inventory changes often, so a quick visit every few weeks can reveal some interesting vintage layers or practical finds. It’s thrift shopping with a purpose here—good deals and community impact rolled into one.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Naomi is absolutely amazing and deserves recognition (and a raise!). From the moment I walked in, she was kind, welcoming, and genuinely happy to help. She went above and beyond to make sure I had a great experience, taking the time to answer questions and help without ever making me feel rushed. Her positive attitude and professionalism truly stood out and made my visit memorable. Employees like Naomi are the reason people keep coming back to Goodwill. She is a huge asset to the team, and I hope management knows how lucky they are to have her! 10/10

Not as much furniture as I was expecting but I did find a gorgeous end table and to top it off all 3 of the wonderful ladies working were so friendly and kind. Really makes a difference.

My mother-in-law calls this the "Good Goodwill" This is the one with the training center so it's especially clean and pretty well organized. Goodwill Industries has gotten a little proud and high prices lately but there are still some bargains. Be sure to check out the grey shopping carts with unsorted / unshelved items.

Goodwill? More like Greedwill. This is the first location I’ve visited in FW area. Very organized. The store is clean, sections are clearly labeled, and it is easy to navigate. From an operational standpoint, it is well run. That said, the pricing completely undermines what Goodwill is supposed to represent. These items were donated, yet many are priced as if they were new. For a DONATION store that claims to “serve the community”, ESPECIALLY populations that rely on affordable access to clothing and household goods, the prices feel out of touch and driven by greed rather than service. Goodwill exists because of generosity. Turning donated goods into premium pricing feels wrong for the very communities this organization claims to support.
