If you’re into thrift shopping around El Paso, Goodwill is a spot you’ll want to check out. This El Paso thrift store is part of a nationwide chain that’s pretty well-known for supporting local communities through its sales. The variety here is solid—shoppers often come across everything from used clothing and vintage pieces to furniture, housewares, and books. Whether hunting for a casual outfit or a quirky decor item, there’s often something worth sifting through.
Goodwill’s strength lies in its steady stream of donated goods, making each visit a bit of an adventure. The used clothing section covers a wide range of styles and eras, so you can find vintage tees alongside modern basics. The furniture offerings can be hit or miss, but when a good piece shows up, it’s worth grabbing. Housewares and kitchen gadgets turn up frequently too, which is perfect if you’re outfitting a new place or just want to experiment with something different without spending a lot.
Because it’s a larger thrift store chain, you can count on reasonably consistent pricing and a store that’s organized enough to make browsing pleasant. It’s not boutique-level curated, but that’s part of the charm: you get to dig through racks and shelves, discovering what’s new each week. For anyone serious about El Paso thrift shopping, Goodwill offers a reliable spot to score practical finds and occasional vintage surprises.

Long-standing nonprofit chain with a range of pre-owned clothing, furniture, housewares & more.
well my favorite past time is ruined by one employee. This guy does not like us. He gave away my cart of bought items as I was carrying to the car and told the manager, He did not know. He looked over me in line and took care of other customers and left me to feel like i was in the front of the bus. He then when told by the niceist person there not to sale an item, gave him the price and ticket to hold and he sold it. Even the manager did nothing saying the policy is pay first. When they are in the right the policy comes comes into affect. Just llike the photo I hold with that same dude loading someone truck and they tell me they dont load. Thanks communitity for the donations though, very much appreciate that. Wish they would do better and appreciate all the donations and treat people equal. Even the employee's with real disabilities are being replaced to speed up the money cash cow. unbelievable. Glad the guys are still working the but off back there. I will drive through and say hi to them though. GoodWill please consider looking into this matter. not right to discriminate.
I cannot believe this store is still operating and people actually rate it more than 1 star. It's literally like a city dump in there. Almost everything is broken or in very bad condition. Even worse, items are outrageously over priced!! For a couple more dollars get it new on from Amazon. Goodwill is not helping the less fortunate. SHAME ON GOODWILL for trying to gouge people while GW CEOs get paid hundreds of thousands a year. Do better!
Overpriced run down store, they don’t even want to honor posted prices. Good dvd and music selection but over priced.
Woah your charging the wrong prices for used items, My goodwill store is selling nothing less 5.00 there was nothing to bargain. 79936 save your trip and go to Burlington or ross instead !
This good will mostly is a RIP OFF sometimes they have decent prices but they are selling things that are from the DOLLAR TREE FOR 3x THE PRICE, Also electronics that go for 10$ on eBay and selling 3x the price I love good will for thrifting but this store is getting out of hand.
