While I normally love this location, the pricing has gotten WAY out of hand lately. When your items cost the same as Ross or Marshalls, And the items are used, It’s time to go to Ross and Marshalls and buy it new. I also understand when having Furniture 50% off on Fridays, it seems like a great deal, but when you’ve marked the furniture up so much, 124.99 a chair, is again the same price at Ross. The 50% off makes no sense. The employees are great, they have surplus of items, just unreasonable prices.

I went into this location on a Friday and wanted to try on two items. All the dressing room doors were taken off the hinges and I asked Philip at the front register if I was able to try on. He said no, but that they changed the return policy to 7 days for a credit back to your card. He asked me if one of the dress prices was okay, but failed to tell me that it was missing an actual color tag to scan and he made the number up. I said okay and bought my items and left and didn’t think about it. When I realized they didn’t fit, I returned them and asked for my refund. Instead of my cash back, they told me it was only credit. Okay fine. However, they wouldn’t honor the one item they hadn't tagged, but sold to me even though it was on the receipt. The manager Nakeisha did not try to de escalate the situation or take accountability for the situation. I’m truly disappointed with this location and their untrained employees. Please if you purchase here, make sure it has a tag on it because they will refuse you even if it is their fault.

Sunday was a very unpleasant shopping experience. Lately, the experiences haven't been very good 😕. With the removal of the dressing rooms and some of the staff rudely informing customers that they are no longer available. Which I can't understand because the return policy is so unfair. If you can not try on the clothes and you take it home you are only given 7 days to return it and only given an in store credit which is border line greed. Sunday was my worst experience to date. The tall cashier who always seems to be in a bad mood, she has in the past called managers to dispute on boutique tags with a regular price item. On this day she call on a manager once again, because she has done this to me at least 3 times. The managers in the past have honor the listed price which IS REQUIRED BY LAW, but on this day they raised the price and took the item from me. The simple t-shirt was double in price, which my wife and I have spent thousands of dollars at goodwill though out the years. I am very disappointed because I belived that goodwill was meant to help the community. Now it has become a money grab and very greedy. Good luck. 😠

This location used to be my favorite and I found many gems here in years past. I visited this past Saturday (Jan 3) and found everything to be extremely overpriced. A j crew plain t-shirt priced at 11.99 when you can find a new one on sale for that price. A jacket that wasn't really a name brand for 29.99. The organization of the clothing also seemed to be lack luster with no clear outline. The lady at the register also was very stand off ish and not kind. It seems that the location are independent of pricing because I've been to other goodwills in the Houston area that have extremely reasonable prices. I would consider visiting a different location than this one.

I am so tired of goodwill upping the prices on absolute trash. A pair of shoes covered in gunk and stains and you’re selling them for FIFTY ($50) DOLLARS? What happened to affordability? What happened to the meaning of “thrift”. This is ridiculous. And no fitting rooms? Not buying (OVERPRICED) clothes that won’t fit. “Oh but you can return them!” For store credit. To get another overpriced shirt that doesn’t fit. Why do you have a TEMU jacket (originally sold for $35) for $60? What the actual hell is happening? There are yogurt containers being sold for more empty than you can buy them at the store full of yogurt! Goodwill is a sad excuse for a thrift store, my money will be spent better finding clothes that fit.
